Both options available. We carry quality braiding hair you can purchase at your appointment. If you have a specific brand or color you prefer, feel free to bring your own. Let us know when you book so we can plan accordingly.
What if I'm tender-headed?
Tell us upfront. We'll work with you. Our install technique prioritizes comfort without sacrificing neatness. We check in throughout the appointment and adjust immediately if anything feels too tight.
Can I get box braids with short hair?
Yes, as long as your hair is at least 2-3 inches long. We'll assess your hair at the start and recommend the best approach. Very short hair may need smaller sections for secure grip.
Can you do box braids on relaxed or transitioning hair?
Yes, with care. Relaxed and transitioning hair can be more fragile. We'll assess your hair's condition and may recommend lighter tension, larger sizes, or a consultation first.
Do you braid kids and men?
Yes. Kids pricing applies to children 12 and under. We're patient with younger clients and keep sessions comfortable. Men's box braids are also available with the same attention to neatness and tension.
What if I need to reschedule?
Please give us at least 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours may result in forfeiting your deposit. We understand things come up but last-minute cancellations affect our schedule.
What if something goes wrong after I leave?
If a braid unravels within 7 days of your appointment due to installation issues, we'll fix it at no charge. Just reach out with photos and we'll schedule you in.
How do I style my box braids for variety?
Box braids are incredibly versatile. You can wear them down, in a high ponytail, half-up half-down, space buns, braided crown, or a low bun. We can show you a few options before you leave.
